THE BUSINESS OF EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

A recent article written about us speculates that we are in the, “Exceeding Client’s Expectations business.” While we love the flattery, the goal of exceeding expectations is just a starting point. We love what we do, so it’s only natural we would want to push ourselves. Recently we’ve been honored to work with some our clients to provide content that would exceed even their audiences expectations. In a world that is over-saturated with visual stimulation, this is no small challenge. Here are a few case studies where we feel we had the opportunity to do just that.

GENERATION GAP

THE CHALLENGE
When our longtime client The Hallmark Channel approached us to create powerful key art for the movie "Generation Gap," we were glad to jump on board. We were to photograph a key scene on location during shooting. Unfortunately, the actual filming location would make a less than ideal photograph.

THE SOLUTION
Not willing to compromise on the vision, we recreated key scenes and locations by compositing materials taken from the on set photography and backgrounds specifically scouted and photographed for the image. The main talent, Ed and Alex were photographed on a portable studio we brought to the filming location.

THE RESULTS
"Generation Gap" opened to 2.1 million viewers ranking it as the highest rated ad-supported cable movie of the week. It was seen by more than 2.9 million unduplicated viewers and helped Hallmark rank #4 in Prime Time for the day and #9 for the week.
